“The Pippin Family of Tazwell County Illinois, Their ancestors and their descendants” is a document of Pippin family history beginning with Richard William Pippin (born in Maryland in 1792 & died in 1871).

This book was published in 1983

It includes descendants of my Grandfather Bert Pippin who migrated from Kansas to Saskatchewan in 1906

A book “John Pippen A New Beginning in Maryland” published by Jim Pippin and Emily (Person) Pippin further traces the Pippin/Pippen family history.

Our branch of descendants of John Pippen the immigrant are as follows;

John Pippen who immigrated from England in 1718.

Robert Pippen I born in Maryland in 1730.

Robert Pippin II born in Maryland in 1752.

Richard Pippin born in Maryland in 1792

Benjamin Pippin born in Indiana in 1821

Richard William Pippin born in Indiana in 1844 (my Great Grandfather)

Bert Pippin born in 1878 in Tazwell County Illinois (my Grandfather)

I have a copy of “John Pippen A New Beginning in Maryland” if anyone is interested in looking at it.

Doug Pippin
